Active York Sports Awards

The Awards 2018

The stars and unsung sporting heroes of York were hailed at our fifth annual Active York Sports Award that
took place in the University of York’s Roger Kirk Centre on 22 March 2018. The Active York Sport Awards
continue to grow each year and the number of nominations, clubs and variety of sports and clubs
involved this year was testament to this.

The event was incredibly heart-warming and inspiring and to see the wealth of sporting talent
the city of York has all in one room was encouraging and created a real sense of pride.
